Firefighter 1 is the first required course for new firefighters. An important component of that training is experiencing fire in a "controlled" setting. In these photos, our members are introduced into a burning room and experiencing the heat and blackout visual conditions. Bike Safety

As the weather becomes more spring-like, you may consider using your bike on our region's many bike trails as part of your fitness routine for the new year. If you decide to go biking, it's essential to follow all relevant regulations and make sure that you have the proper safety gear.
